Gastroenteritis is one of the leading causes of childhood morbidity & mortality worldwide; with its greatest impact in technologically “undeveloped” & impoverished populations, including marginalized pockets within “developed” nations. We’ve seen a reprieve from gastroenteritis during the past 2 years of the COVID-19 pandemic, likely due to transmission mitigation measures (hand washing, closure of group childcare facilities) aimed at management of the COVID-19 pandemic; but as these measures are relaxed or ignored at this stage in the pandemic, we’re likely to see these conditions rebound.
In this 4-session online course (pre-prepared for self-paced participation), I’ll investigate the virology, epidemiology, pathophysiology, and conventional & homeopathic management of viral gastroenteritis.

Session 2 – Noroviruses (Norwalk-like viruses)
Session 3 – other pathogens of acute gastroenteritis
Session 4 – the homeopathic management of acute gastroenteritis, including discussion of several cases from my clinical files.
