Respiratory Syncytial Virus
Likely we’re all feeling we’ve had enough of viruses, but unfortunately they haven’t had enough of us.
Over the past 20 months we’ve seen a remarkable absence of respiratory viruses & of viral diseases in general, other than the prevailing pandemic of SARS CoV-2. The 2019 Influenza A/B epidemic was cut short in March of 2020, and the anticipated annual 2020/2021 Influenza epidemic never materialized. However, this summer has seen an early & aggressive return of Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV), one of the most concerning respiratory pathogens of both young children and the elderly. As an apparently new pathogen on the block as of 1956, we’ve seen this to spread worldwide as a slow-rolling pandemic now establishing itself as a seasonal (typically autumn/winter) endemic disease throughout the world.
In this 2-part online course, I’ll examine the virology, epidemiology, & pathogenicity of Respiratory Syncytial Virus and explore its homeopathic management & differential homeopathic materia medica, relying on cases from my practice.
2 live online sessions (will be recorded for review & for self-paced participation) – Thursdays September 30 & October 7, 4:30-5:30pm US Pacific time (UTC-7).
